OK...well there's this situation. I'm kinda tired of typing it out and stuff, so what I'm gonna do is copy my journal entry from last night (7/11) and paste it into here. The parts I want you guys to concentrate on are the parts that concern John. What I'd like from you guys is to tell me what you think is really going on...what caused him to act like he did and say what he did. And maybe give me some advice to handle the situation. Some things to remember while evaluating everything...I'm TOTALLY attracted to this guy, I'm 18, he's 38, and the person that answered the phone was his WIFE.
<Edit> I feel like I needed to say one more thing...John totally doesn't act 38. He acts like he's no older than 25.
OK...so I was SUPPOSED to go for my interview at WMMS on Wednesday. But people are fucking retarded so I ended up calling them and postponing it til Thursday at 11 am. So I'm sitting here Wednesday night (last night) and I'm just about to go to sleep when Brandy calls me. She was telling me something about Dan...and I kinda needed to talk to her about something that happened at class. So she tells me about how she called Dan to tell him that she was gonna be up at the station in the morning because she was gonna take me up there for my interview. Well, he totally blew her off and she was kind of upset about it. So I was talking to her about it for awhile. And then we decided that I'd call Dan and see what happens. This was like half an hour or more after she talked to him. So I call him and me and him are talking for a good 10 minutes. I was telling him about how I was gonna be up there for an interview and stuff. Then he had to go back on air, so he told me to hang on, but MMS' equipment sux and the phone hung up instead of putting me on hold. So I called Brandy back to see if I should even bother trying to call HIM back. We decided that I should. So I called him and I said something like "so you guys were busy earlier, huh?" (He had told me earlier that they were pretty busy.) He said yeah and that he still kinda was. So I asked him if he wanted me to let him go and he said yeah. So I hung up with him and called Brandy back. So we were talking about her situation for a while. Then we moved on to MY little situation here... I was on the phone with my sister Wednesday afternoon before class. I heard my other line beep. I figured it was Dan and that I could always call him back when I got off the phone with Megan. Well I got off the phone with her and I looked at the number that came up, but I didn't recognize it. So I called it and asked if someone called for Monica. Some lady answered...I heard her pull the phone away from her mouth and she was like "WHO'S MONICA?!" Then someone grabbed the phone and I hear John say "hey...it's me." He told me that he might be running late and he wanted me to get there a little earlier and grab the studio we liked. So I got there like 35 minutes before class started. As I was walking in school to go get the studio, someone yelled so I turned around to see what the hell was going on. Here it was this one kid that just started school in June that I've talked to once or twice when we were on break. He said that he say my shirt and he thought it was something, but it wasn't what he thought it was. Well, I ended up sticking around and talking to him for a bit. Well, John got there (not late) and went and got our studio. He was walking back and forth between me and this guy I was talking to a couple times. So finally me and him decide that since it's just about 6:00 we should get going to class. This is the point where he tells me his name is Taco...and that confuzd the hell out of me and I was like WHAT?! Then he explained that his last name was Taco (not pronounced like the food) and that in 1st grade his teacher misprounced it and it kind of stuck. Then he told me that his name is Nick. So we went off our seperate ways to our classes. I stopped in on John in the studio to see what he was up to and to let him know that it was time to go sign in and as soon as I stepped foot in the studio he like jumped all over me about talking to Nick. He was all like "who was that that you were talking to?? Why were you talking to him?? You were talking to him for a half an hour!" (I didn't even realize how long I was talking to him.) I was like "I think he said his name was Nick and I was talking to him cuz there was nothing else to do before class so I figured why not." Then I said something about how I didn't even realize how long I was talking to him and that I doubted that it was a half an hour. And he said something like he knew it was a half an hour cuz he was "watching me". And then he went on to tell me that I can do better than Nick and stuff like that. And he started calling him Timmy Taco. (I mentioned the Taco thing.) And he kept telling me that all night...about how I can do better than Nick. Even though I kept telling him that I was only talking to Nick...not TALKING to him. So it was kind of bothering me about how John got so over-protective of me all of a sudden and stuff. I didn't know what the hell was going on. I told Brandy about what happened...and at first she said that she thought he was just being like an over-protective father-type figure for me. Just looking out for me. So then I read her the emails he's sent me. She said there's GOTTA be more behind it all... So I've been talking to some people about it all. And I'm getting the same freaking answer. That there's gotta be more behind it all. I asked this one guy about it...if he'd ever say something like that to one of his female classmates. He said only if he liked her. In a way I'm thinking that I'm totally flipping out about nothing, but then there's that other part of me that's saying that I have all this stuff to support it. So I just have no idea. But anyway...let's get back to the order of events. So me and Brandy were talking on the phone about everything. Then at like 8:00am I said something about how I wanted a bagel. And she said that she wanted a bagel, too. So we decided that she'd come get me, and I could bring the bagels since she didn't have any and I could get ready for my interview at her aunt's house and then she'd take me. So that's what we did. And when I got up to Clear Channel and John Frato finally came out to get me for the interview, I almost fell over cuz he's so hot. So me, him, and this other guy Mike Onesky went into a room and they interviewed me. And of course I got it.
So then they showed me around the station and told me that they'd see me on Monday when I gotta go in to fill out some paper work and stuff. So me and Brandy left and went to Denny's and got a piece of cheesecake cuz it sounded good. Then I got home and I think I fell asleep for about an hour. (I was exhausted after not sleeping and everything that we did and stuff.) So then I gotta go to class. We had to finish up our concert spots today. I was working on mine and John had to work on something else, so he wasn't in my studio the whole time like usual. But we finally got down to where we were gonna listen to them and get graded on them. I got a friggin B+. But it was all good. Even though I worked my ass off on that spot and tried my bestest I still got a B+. But that's just gonna make me work harder on our next project. Well John was PISSED that I got a B+. He was all like "I was in the studio the whole fucking time you were doing your spot and you did a GREAT job. You should have AT LEAST got an A. You got fucked." I was like "eh...it sux, but it's ok". So finally he dropped it. Well, class ended, but my mom wasn't out there yet. John said that he'd stick around with me until my mom got there. (So sweet of him.) So we were talking and he brought up Nick AGAIN. He said something about Timmy Taco. Then he went on to say that Nick was hitting on me yesterday and that he looks like one of those people in the Special Olympics. Now I don't think Nick's that bad looking...he's kind of a qt. But whatever. So yeah...I think that's about all that's been making me so confuzd lately. I don't really know what's going on. But that's ok. Oh...it was so cute...me and John were talking on break and he said something about how I better be nice to him cuz when I'm looking for a job and he's got a job at the Fish, I'm gonna come crawling to him and if I'm mean to him, he won't help me get a job there. I looked at him and said "when am I mean to you? I'm always nice to you!" And he said "yeah, you're right...you're always sweet to me." And he said it all cute and stuff. I was like awwwwww! (To myself.) And he practically caught me and saved me from falling twice today. This other guy (Mike) tripped me from behind and I fell right into John. It was...interesting... *sighs* I think I'm gonna stop thinking of it for now and go get some well needed sleep...
